Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

Registration Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Helpful Reminders

Reporting an Absence

You can report an absence using our online Report an Absence or please call the office on the day your student will be absent. When leaving a message, include:

• Student’s full name  
• Teacher’s name  
• Date of absence  
• Reason for absence  

Food and Lunches

ILC follows the BUSD Wellness Policy. Students who bring fast food to school must eat it in the office. We encourage families to pack a healthy lunch or have students purchase a meal from the cafeteria.

If your student forgets their lunch and you plan to bring one, please have them check the office during recess or lunchtime. To protect instructional time, the office does not interrupt classes to notify students about forgotten items.

Early Pick-Up

Students will not be called out of class for early release during the final 15 minutes of the school day. At that time, teachers are reviewing homework and sharing important end-of-day expectations.

Before and After School

Families are asked to wait outside until the gates open before and after school. Please avoid remaining in the office unless you need assistance, as our staff’s primary focus is supporting students and their immediate needs.
