Elementary Music

All ILC students participate in BUSD's Elementary Music program through vocal music (TK-4th grade), Chorus (5th and 6th grade) or Band (5th and 6th grade) classes.   Students in grades TK-4 participate in vocal music once each week.  For band and chorus, music teachers visit ILC each Wednesday, and provide high-quality instruction for students to grow as musicians. 

All band a chorus music students participate in evening concerts at a local theater.  This is a unique program available to BUSD elementary students that encourages a love of music as students move into middle and high school.  Students are provided a strong foundation for joining secondary choral groups and bands.
