Elementary Music

All fifth and sixth grade students participate in BUSD's Elementary Music program through Chorus or Band classes.  Students have the option of choosing either vocal or instrumental instruction.  Music teachers visit ILC each Wednesday, and students broaden their education through music instruction from 8:55 to 9:55 a.m.  All music students participate in evening concerts at the local Bristol Theater.  Students perform on stage for family and friends.  This is a unique program available to BUSD elementary students that encourages a love of music as students move into middle and high school.  Students are provided a strong foundation for joining secondary choral groups and bands.
